Silk pillowcase questions
Will a 50 × 75 cm pillowcase fit my pillow?
Compare your pillow's measurements with the 50 × 75 cm pillowcase before ordering. Square, king-size and very full pillows may need a different size. This is the 50 × 75 cm series; check the measurements rather than relying on a size name.
What does 16 momme mean?
Momme describes the weight of silk fabric. This pillowcase is 16 momme. It is a fabric specification, separate from the product's shipping weight.
Is silk the same as satin?
No. Silk is a fibre, while satin describes a weave. Satin can be made from silk or other fibres. This pillowcase is made from 100% Mulberry silk. Silk is animal-derived, so it is not vegan.
How do I wash a silk pillowcase?
Hand washing is recommended. You can also machine wash carefully on a silk, wool or delicate cycle at up to 30 °C. Turn the pillowcase inside out, use a gentle detergent suitable for silk and a laundry bag when machine washing. Do not bleach, wring or tumble dry. If ironing is needed, use a low/cool setting, preferably while the silk is still slightly damp. Always follow the care label supplied with your pillowcase.
